Additional Funding Information

Here is some information about potential sources of funding that may help offset registration costs and travel expenses. 

 

UCSB GSA

The Graduate Student Association at UC Santa Barbara offers $200 annually towards conference attendance for graduate students to attend conferences where they will present original research. The application window for Winter Quarter (Jan 8–April 1) - when UCCS 2018 takes place -  is January 8–12. 
 

 

UCB GFO

The Graduate Fellowships Office at Berkeley offers up to $600 to PhD students (twice annually) and MS or MA students (once annually) to cover conference attendance where their original research is presented. 

 

 

UC Merced GSA

The Graduate Student Association at UC Merced offers up to $400 for qualifying expenses for graduate students who present their original work or network as pertinent to their studies. 

 

UC Santa Cruz

 

Graduate Student Association Travel Grants are awarded to assist students who travel to attend conferences related to their graduate projects, like the UCCS. More information will be available soon through the Graduate Student Association, which may be contacted directly at gsainfo@ucsc.edu
